HP Compaq Business Desktop D530 - Convertible Mini Tower

The HP Compaq Business Desktop d530 convertible minitower chassis provides expandability and flexibility, allowing customers to standardize on one chassis for varying office environments. The unique chassis design allows the PC to fit easily into varied office environments with a drive that can be easily rotated 90 degrees to conveniently reconfigure the unit from a tower to a desktop in minutes.

The convertible minitower is the industry's only convertible tower on the market today, offering businesses the convenience and savings associated with purchasing one form factor for multiple uses. The chassis includes one full-height AGP and three full-height PCI slots (or five when using a PCI extender card). The unit's six drive bays can accommodate DVD, Zip, CD-RW, and backup tape drives for additional expandability. The chassis has a standard front I/O module with two audio and two USB ports (which can be deactivated to prevent unauthorized access) for additional convenience and ease of use. An optional MultiBay adapter enables simple peripheral connection and hot-swapping of devices such as CD-RW, DVD- ROM, CD-ROM, and diskette drives. This feature helps save time and money by allowing multiple users to share drives.
